“I know, I know, 5 out of 5 across the board must seem unreal, but I promise you, there was no other way I could rate Julie and Dallas Girl Friday. She was excellent. I was a very hands-on, “anti-bride”, and pretty non-traditional/unorthodox. Oh, and my husband and I were also blending our families (his, mine, and ours – we’re a regular Brady Bunch), so I was also all over the map and my planning was sporadic, at best. So what I am saying is: My wedding had a unique set of challenges, and she was right there on top of ALL of it. I hired her as a day-of coordinator, and she also ran our rehearsal. But when I really needed to hear options/ideas/suggestions while still in the planning stages, she offered them without hesitation. She gave real advice, which was especially helpful in the ultra-important details (like timing) that I was less-than-great at, was mindful of our budget (HUGE), made sense of my half-formed ideas leading up to the wedding date, was a great asset in the layout and decor of the space(s), found our bartender and s’mores station attendant, ran interference and was a brilliant point of contact with our vendors, maintained a stable presence for our guests, made sure nothing was broken, lost, or went missing (we had a lot of borrowed and rented vintage furniture, so this was HUGE), and when I needed a little break from the party, Julie made sure I was able to disappear for a couple minutes.
