Laura + Brockett, Organic and Colorful Grapevine Wedding

Laura's beautiful ring atop her sweet and rustic wedding invitation Laura's dress contained a beautiful "something blue" sewn in heart Blonde bombshell close to walking down the aisle Laura gave "her Superman" cuff links and a silly book Laura gave "her Superman" cuff links and a book containing the reasons she wanted to marry him

Laura and I went to college together so her wedding was a special one to me! She and Brockett are such a hilarious and oh-so-in-love couple! I know their first look brought tears to my eyes! Laura and Brockett live in Chicago, but she’s from here so I got to step in and help the couple plan the wedding from afar!

Isn’t Laura so stunning? Her hair is legit #goals. And that Stella York dress! Later that evening she changed into a really fun mini dress and mint flats and looked as gorgeous as ever.

Their color palette was so eclectic but it worked! Just look at the mix of coral and mint bridesmaids dresses! Due to rain leading up to the wedding, the intended ceremony space was really muddy. Luckily the outdoor porch worked great as plan B! And their friend got ordained to perform their ceremony, I love when couples have someone so invested in their relationship giving them their vows. I also love that both of Laura’s parents walked her down the aisle, they are seriously the sweetest, most hilarious family!

Laura did all the paper products herself and it totally paid off! How great are those ceremony programs? They also made booklets denoting their anniversary that guests could leave notes and advice in that also served as table numbers. And how about those awesome CD favors? Music is a big part of their relationship and I love that they included that part of their love story. Their florals really had the just-picked wildflowers vibe. The mix of bright colors and greenery gave off such an organic vibe.

This was a crowd that was down to DANCE! People watching during the dancing was beyond fun. Love was so sweet that night with cake, pie, cupcakes, AND a s’mores bar!

Christina + Mark, Colorful Garden Wedding

Christina and Mark are the sweetest couple! I loved their bright, fall Dallas, Texas wedding with so many personalized details. The Trinity River Audubon Center was the perfect setting for their sunset ceremony and intimate, airy reception.

How great are those puppy cufflinks? They LOVE their pups! Shawn Marie Photography took so many stunning photos it was legitimately hard to narrow down for this post and Leslie from Everly Alaine Florals absolutely killed it! The colors, the open blooms, the organic centerpieces, that wild and gorgeous ceremony arch – every piece was perfection.

The couple did a group selfie with all the guests from the altar right after their first kiss as a married couple and then exited to bubbles. Christina did all the hand lettering and watercolor work for the table numbers, escort cards, and menus! Love when I have creative and talented brides!

The couple opted out of public dances in favor of a private last dance before their sparkler exit. They did draw some attention to themselves though by playing the newlywed game (also known as the shoe game) – a tradition that I love!! They also cut their two tiered cake while guests gathered awaiting their turn at all the mini desserts – seriously y’all these were some of the best desserts I’ve EVER tasted – from Bethany House Baking.

Marissa + Sean, Dallas Country Club Wedding

This wedding came at the craziest time for me. October is always a huge month for weddings in Dallas/Fort Worth and October 2015 was no exception. I had to schedule semi-emergency gallbladder surgery literally in between 4 back to back weddings. So thankful for my team (had Lauren and Annie with me that weekend!) that could pick up my slack as I could coordinate, but was under strict doctor instruction to REST and NOT LIFT ANYTHING!

Marissa and Sean met in college, but Marissa is from here, so Dallas was a natural place for their wedding. Marissa and I actually never met in person until the day of her wedding rehearsal! Wedding planning can be crazy sometimes, y’all 🙂 The bleak weather caused us to move to Plan B for the ceremony, which was originally scheduled to be an outdoor golf course ceremony. Luckily Bent Tree Country Club had an awesome backup space with an incredible skylight!

The rain (more like the sprinkling) ceased and Tyler + Lindsey were able to get some awesome formal portraits outside. Isn’t Marissa such a classic bride with that updo and long sleeved dress? And those bushes will almost make you think that Texas gets the actual colors of the fall season!

Di Fiori did a great job bringing in fall and keeping their purple + orange color scheme classic and luxe. It’s Your Night did an amazing job of keeping guests on the dance floor. I love the fun dance floor images that were captured!

I’ve blogged about Erin and Brad’s wedding before, but now I have a slew of new photos and I just HAD to show them off. Plus today is their third wedding anniversary, so perfect timing!

Erin and Brad had a beautiful fall wedding over Thanksgiving weekend complete with a traditional Catholic ceremony, margaritas, glow sticks, and a bubble exit!

Erin wore two garters representing her alma mater, The University of Texas, and Brad’s favorite team, The Kentucky Wildcats.

Their centerpieces were all hand constructed and their personalities and even jobs infused their details, like Erin’s career as a librarian and their guest book cards decked out like due date cards!

So happiest of anniversaries to one of my very favorite and first Events by Jules couples!
